It's possible it falls under their accessibility standards because it's also for color blind etc. Sony also helped with overall quality control and performance, and is likely the reason the game shipped with as little issues as it did. The combat seems cool at first glance but is too easy and hardly challenging.
The level design gives the impression of being complex and interesting but it mostly linear. The game doesn't even let you do things out of order sometimes which is really annoying.
The quests are shallow and the rewards underwhelming .
If I had to say the game is carried mostly by the World design, character design and the music. Problem is, that is outside of the realm of video games, this could have been a movie and little would change.

Scarlet is pretty easy to deal with one you learn her attack pattern, all of her attacks seem quite fair except for the one where she dashes behind you and hits like 7 times.
