The switch emulation on deck is pretty inconsistent in my experience. I'd recommend just doing it on a full PC.
The Switch 2 itself runs at 10-12 W in handheld play while the Deck is 15 W, and they have somewhat comparable performance in favor of the Switch 2.
This is already a decent indication that the Switch 2 will not be easily emulated on the current generations of handhelds. You'll likely be able to do it on PC when it gets cracked and reverse engineered (which is still an active process we have no reason to believe is quick or easy), but you'll likely either have to buy a very expensive next-gen handheld or wait many generations until the ~$600 range for handhelds is much more powerful than a Switch 2, which will be a while.

the switch 2 screen is substantially larger than than the deck's, and it's really nice having all the extra real estate. it's a great picture, unironically
while the "twice as strong" claims are a bit dubious, it is true that both these machines boast comparable performance but the switch 2 has a substantially lower power draw in handheld mode than the deck at max draw (ie switch 2's 10-12 W while the deck draws 15 W at the 60% percentile, so it's really a range between 10-20 W effectively).
While it's somewhat old, the SoC on the switch 2 is quite capable and a confidence-inspiring platform for upcoming nintendo games.
