Because flashy =/= good. BDO's combat loop, for both PVE and PVP, is dodge around until enemy is open, CC, and then do the same 1 combo for single target, or the same 1 combo for AOE. You repeat this until dead.
There is no interactivity, no thinking, no rock paper scissors between classes. They all do the same shit, and have the exact same strategy. It's awful. But hey, twenty backflips and fifty thousand particles on the screen so, wow so cool, such great combat!!

The animations for the enemies are also unimportant, with unsynchronized hitboxes and overall retardedly simplistic when compared to the anime shit player characters do.

same. went out and got a few levels on 2 weapons + 4 of their skills. then came back, still shit but brought it down to half before getting combo'd to death. went out again and talked to the NPCs in the town, bought gathering gears to craft armors and then came back to the boss. from hitting me for 600+ per hit it was down to 80+ per hit. needless to say the fight went from souls difficulty to your typical grind and one shot the boss. what the fuck was that difficulty curve.

I noticed like 70% of NPCs are just floating, not touching the ground at all.
