The main problem with Fallout discourse is that 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are fundamentally different forms of RPG. Criticising the latter for lack of dialogue choices is the equivalent of criticising the former for not being able to swim: you've fundamentally misunderstood what each is trying to do.

NMS is alright, it's feels like a super casual version of space engineers. The naming gimmick gets old super fast. There's probably 10-15 hours of content before you realize you're just grinding to grind better. I've built a base, explored a bit, fought some space battles, got to that anomaly hub in the main story, did a few shitty missions and got bored.

No, its not. 1 was about people outside the vaults starting to rebuild society and 2 was the post-post apocalypse which New Vegas would later carry even further. 3 was baby's first post apocalypse which makes zero fucking sense the more you break down what Bethesda thought they were going for with 3
