so i installed ff14 to socialize and maybe find a gf. the gameplay itself is a bit boring since i'm still grinding the story quests but at least the story itself is starting to get interesting.

the social aspect on the other hand... first of all i have to exert some serious effort not to shit post too much or start random arguments in the newbie global chat. which doesn't always work out. 4channel really ruined my brain. thanks rapeape. but other than that i've had lots of positive encounters when starting random conversations with people around me. the only problem is i get flustered way too quickly when i even get a wiff of a female writing style. this might prove to be a problem in the future as i have to battle between my desire to start shit for no reason and running away with red cheeks.

It was 100% SE's fault. They had a pretty good ride with this game so long as the MSQ was a base-level of quality to keep attention away from the glaring issues with its core systems.
Once the MSQ pillar fell, so did the rest of the game's criticism.
They could have avoided this and enjoyed more piss-easy support from their braindead audience if they just didn't get such an untalented and shitty writer to take a dump all over the narrative.
