Why do people act like if you play video games you have to play them for 100 hours or more a week or something? I just play single player games and when I finish the story I move on and could go months before playing another one. Like last year the only 2 games I played were FF7 Rebirth and Silent Hill 2 Remake. FF7 Rebirth took like 100 hours and then I didn't play a single second of a video game until SH2 Remake came out several months later and that took like 20 hours. So in the entire year I only played about 120 hours of video games.

I think it's important to have a balance of multiple hobbies. But most people these days can only afford to pursue one because of full time jobs or taking care of a family.

It's funny to me when I see Youtube videos about how gaming is a poisonous time waster, when it's Youtube itself that is the worst time waster to me.
