Just ordered mine. I usually wait for reviews but I just played Death Stranding for the first time back in March and actually enjoyed it a lot so I'm looking forward to getting it when it comes out.

I want to experience the game as others are playing it for the first time too since people will be building structures and maybe I won't just be driving around the map in a truck like I did in the first game, but actually using the ziplines and other stuff that players build to get around

honestly I rarely ever pre-order games or pay full price for them but I'm making an exception for this because I'm bored as hell right now and no other video games to play and this is like the only game I'm even interested in playing this year that's coming out anytime soon. I know what I'm in for with this game too, Kojima will have some pretty cringey dialogue and writing, but at the same time it will have some kino moments and the general gameplay loop of deliveries was fun enough in the first game. It seems like he's made a lot of improvements on the general gameplay formula too like more combat options and vehicle combat.

Yep. You always find inconsistencies and contradictions in other stories, that simply don't make any sense in the confines of that universe, but everything is very logically sound in Death Stranding.

The entire game is a chore. Ubisoft hubs are disconnected so you have to walk and walk and walk to build the network to fast travel between them. Fast travelling is the end game. People who have spent 1000+ hours literally just fast travel between copy paste buildings just so they can get some likes and a hollywood actor cutscene.
