Fix the shitty item inventory.
Ad player invasion like RE6 but better.
Ad a merchant NPC
A new level where you drive a truck with a mounted M134 minigun
That's it, flaws and all RE5 is still my favorite.

What was wrong with the inventory system? Limiting the amount of guns you could bring and quick switching was actually good. Also being able to toss gear over to your teammate was also good. They threw all that away in RE6 for an infinitely inferior cluttered mess. If you're defending re4s system it would have never worked for the pace re5 was going for which is just an action game.

I'm really not sure if they'll bother to do it. Even back then they got some backlash for letting you kill hordes of black people. Imagine what it would be like today.

Menuing during gameplay is peak gaming.
That's why RE5 and KH2 are the best games ever made.
