Other than the physics playground element these games forsake 90% of what made Zelda's "magic" work, and even the weapons and sequel's cool building gimmick gets drowned in every mundane grinding mechanic copied from the modern era just to barely use them. It's just Nintendo-branded Ubislop now, and now even MarioKart and Donkey Kong are starting to have it too.
