>heavily multiplayer focused game >released one day before PSN gets shut down for a full month due to massive security breach
Zipper got fucked so hard by Sony's incompetence.
>>713331741 >European developer >Delays the game everywhere except Australia due to a JP-only issue >Online servers fucked by the PSN security breach under a month later for NA players when it came out
Sucks, since I liked the game a lot, despite it being worse than Pacific Rift in some aspects.

Both games are kino. I would dust off my PS3 and do a marathon playthrough of Pacific Rift and Apocalypse but I have no idea where my Pacific Rift disc is, I think I might have lost it because it was inside my PS3 when I sent it for YLoD repair.
I wonder if the games can be emulated without breaking issues on PC in 2025.

If you have a modern enough PC, do yourself a favor and emulate it instead. It is fucking STAGGERING how much the PS3 holds back the game's visuals. It makes me question why there was never a series-port to PS4 since the assets are higher quality than the PS3 can render (shit texture filtering/shit anti-aliasing/sub-720p resolution)..

Speaking of which, came out like, a week before (or after I think)Halo 2 on Xbox (peak Halo in terms of sales) Yeah I dunno, no wonder the Gamecube failed.

They had full intentions to turn Blasto into a big franchise, but losing Hartman demotivated everyone involved.
I wonder how successful it would have been.
>the only good game made by Good Feel on Switch >one of their best games in fact >not a Nintendo IP so Nintendo refused to published it >bombed in Japan >luckily picked up by Spike Chunsoft for release in the west >bombed in the west
>>713334712 >bombed in the west
Surely it didn't bomb THAT hard, given two weeks prior, we got the double-whammy that was Concord and Dustborn and everyone else playing Wukong
