He makes a few comments about her, but the whole gang does. It is a cringe moment, but saddie herself doesn't lecture anyone about men being evil. She is just a forced "one of the boys" trope. She is better near the end of the game because she sides with Arthur/John, but I do agree that overall her character was annoying. People just overblow the one or two lines sucking her off. Even the missions with her really aren't that bad.

The only problem with the game is the length of the story due to it being a bloated open world video game. If you turned it into a 2 hour long film then Arthur's relationship with his former GF and Dutch would probably be the heart of the entire thing. But then again that is the problem with basically every video game.

The missions are out if place, and seem like cut content that never got cut. You litterally just walk thru Rhodes and dont even get paid, no one ever references it again or even mentions it before or after it happens.

Yeah that is the main issue with the story. That and the padded missions that put Arthur's kill count in the 4 digits before the game is over.
In a film he'd kill a few people in questionable circumstances over the course of the movie to the point that you can argue he was defending himself (while committing a crime). In the game you kill half of the city in a chase sequences. Makes his redemption at the end a bit silly even if it is primarily about personal growth.
