did you know that australia still has literal highway robbery? they will stand in the road at night and when trucks/drivers stop for them their mates come out of the bushes and raid the car, taking whatever they want. it's not inherently violent but the abbos are always drunk as shit and it can get violent.

in the northern territory they have signs up that say don't stop, just report the collision when you get to the next town and the cops will send someone to render aid (scrape up the body). but if they park their car across the road it's harder unless you're a road train.
