The class stories are good, yeah, and having an MMO with an actual single player story was neat as the FFXIV fags rant and rave about. But SWTOR has a story for each class and offers a bit more interactivity.

Everybody should play SWTOR's Imperial Agent story at the very least.

It felt outdated in 2011 at launch. The recent "overhaul" was the bare minimum of acceptable and since it's entering the sunset era. They should just make it completely free to play if their subsidiary studio is so desperate to pretend it should be appreciated.

As a big fan of the tab-target MMO genre I think SWTOR is very good at what it is, that being a story-driven MMO set in Star Wars. It's outshined by the more popular MMOs and is slowly dying.

It has decent enough story (class stories) for an mmo, and also not annoying subscription model (that you don't even need for the class stories anyway). But gameplay is shit as with most mmos. I wish those class stories were part of singplayer game(s).
Unironically, I have to say that sith class stories and portrayal is better than in all of the movies and much of the Extended Universe material. And yes, that's how low I hold Star Slop that some simple mmo is better at doing sith.
Lord Palladius from Sith Inquisitor story line is more nuanced and logical than whatever crap Gorgie boy or the Mouse could do.

It was never good. The RPG format just fucking sucks when it comes to Star Wars. You want action, and it has many action games that are so much fucking better. Retarded lorefags have ruined every goddamned thing, nobody gives a fuck about your saber crystals or what aliens are hermaphrodites, less information and exposition is unironically better. I especially like the Sith Warrior, Imperial Agent, and to a much lesser extent, the Sith Inquisitor story for how they portray the failings of the Sith Empire. It should, statically and logistically, be able to absolutely decimate the Republic, but the machinations of the Sith hinder their war machine to the point that they're stalemated against an inferior opponent.
There's just not much the actual backbone of the empire can do when competent and decorated military generals are executed on the spot for serving a Sith guest a calzone instead of a Strombolli for dinner or when an imperial intelligence agent is retasked with recapturing Darth Rapius's sex slave or assassinating another uppity Sith when they were on the verge of disabling the local republic base's automated defenses.
