the biggest problem is retards who can't figure out basic concepts such as "avoid damage while picking up money as scout" and "place the dispenser in a spot where the team can access it" and "don't max out rocket launcher clip size as your first upgrade."
frankly the worst metafags are also low-tours who assume you MUST play the game a certain way to win. it would be one thing if that were it, but they're so confidently wrong about ideal playstyles (e.g. medic is necessary, spy is useless, sniper is a single-target damage dealer) that it's infuriating. there are asshole high tours, but in my mann up experience most of the 100+ tour guys are just chill and want the mission to go smoothly, and have no problem carrying.
fortunately you can just play community mvm and avoid most of this bullshit. you get competent and chill players and far more maps and missions, plus the occasional rebalance/custom weapon.
