>>713525181I have same problem with zen 3 cpus that I have. I have to disable the turbo either with registry edit that allows power plans to disbale turbo, or directly from bios. Basically a x3D cpu climbs from 50celsius to 70celsius just from enabling turbo from power mode (though granted, I'm using 100% - 100% power mode to avoid any throttling issues in other software I use). I've come to think that these temps are not sustainable for PC gaming. I don't know what the issue is, I have many HDDs in my case, but none of them should be in the way of airflow. I have 2 front and 1 top intake fans, 1 exhaust fan back of the case, and a fan controller with which I can adjust case fan speeds. Nothing I do to fan speeds seem to be able to affect the CPU temperature, maybe because the gigantic AMD gpu (7900xtx) blows hot air directly onto CPU cooler (noctua something). Modern PC gaming with very high tdp CPUs and gigantic arm length GPUs is fucking ridiculous, this isn't a way to play video games, it's a mockery of how things used to be back in the day.
