XKeeper on TCRF (the newest target of the sh*rty) epitomizes this; a bitter (ex-)4chan oldfag who started (like all oldfags) on SomethingAwful in the '00s, and who trooned out because his worldview and status as a nerdy asocial white male addicted to stimuli to relieve a depressingly vapid existence makes trooning out inevitable without some kind of relief outlet.
You therefore do not see funposting, OC generation, or (most critically) community, because the oldtroon attitude to this site is now "burn it all down" as they undertake a Sisyphean struggle to reclaim 4chan as a mostly trans-neutral safespace, mostly through constant attempts at disruption of criticism of gamemakers friendly to their ideology. Which is inevitably doomed to failure outside of the kind of moderator intervention which secured SA, pre-Musk Twitter, Reddit, etc. and which is basically guaranteed to never happen because the ideology of the moderators as apparent in the leaks is jaded apathy so long as you don't trespass on their personal fiefdoms.
