>>713566110>wonders why the game is shit when he runs south and gets mowed down by a bunch of end game enemiesWhen I played I went Klamath, Den, Redding, New Reno.
I didn't know I was supposed to clamber over mountains because Fallout 1 says you shouldn't travel on rough terrain.
This sent me to some of the worst places and encounters I could be given before I could get a real weapon... and even then New Reno is the only first real gun shop but you don't get full access until after you do some quests if you don't mind bad karma.
I mean really,
>burst fire weapon damage>stims rarer + more expensive + trading more harsh than 1>first aid/doctor was nerfed>vic will crit you more in the back than he'll hit the enemy before he's level 6 or whatever>burst fire weapon damage>golden geckos are no joke, aren't rare, and you need to clear a cave of them before you can pay for the bullets and health used to kill their encounters>spitting plant in the elder's garden can fuck a low melee skill level 1/2 player up>burst fire 10mm SMGs and FALs appear right outside the Den>fire geckos are outside Redding, they open their mouth, the world disappears in fireI hit both the exploding cow and waste dump special tiles just walking south of the Den. The game fucking hates the player and it's not funny.
>enclave are too strong, waaaahGo between the NCR and Broken Hills. They spawn there with guns I don't think they even have in the military camp. You have to reload a save because they all go first due to initiative mechanics. You cannot just book it, say sorry, pay them off, anything.
>it's stupid to get all the powerful guns immediately! It really is when without being a Made Man, you can only get stuff that works for content at the top of the map, but you have to cross the middle and bottom to get to... the one gun trader in the whole game... who sells the best guns in the whole game... and it's not a progression, it's just "Here's everything!"
