It will be much more Terraria centric but it will be 3D I assure you

The devs behind the legacy console editions are making their own successor. I think it has a chance since they worked with Mojang for many years and on Minecraft itself. It’s in really early development though

Last three updates devs have been kicking the content into high gear, tons of new shit like sailboats, tamable Elk mounts, fuckloads of new building materials and all the new story content has been great. The modding community is quite active too

Yeah, the only real issue I have is the early game grind can be quite time consuming if you don't really know what you're doing, especially with how sparse surface copper and tin can be. The game really only opens up once you've gotten into the copper age.

If you're really having trouble with food, go straight into making pottery and making cooked meals, making meals in a cooking pot drastically increases the amount of hunger is satisfied per resource

My very own autistic minecraft mod. I kinda had give up on this project because I thought it was redundant with hytale and other mods.

Since hytale is dead I have an excuse to keep working on it and don't have to worry so much about stealing the look of their assets, since is not like anyone will ever enjoy them anyway.

I tried vintage story and got mauled by a pack of wolves in the first 30 seconds.

the food/hunger system along with a ton of other settings are quite customizable, you can slow it down to 25% of normal and disable spoilage if it bothers you all that much, and i'd be willing to bet a mod exists to disable hunger outright

Same thing, died multiple times to the retarded wolves and the combat is awful so I keep dying unless I'm near water. It was a pirate copy so I didn't have any strength in me to continue playing while feeling miserable. it was so bad that I felt like playing terrafirmacraft instead.

I would say that NodeCore game for minetest really is special, but it really needs content and some qol features instead of being fuck around find out progression based game.

hytale has nothing to show for their 10 years of work. releasing the game also would have prevented them from just feeling like they can scrap the entire project and restart from square one with a new engine like 7 or 8 years into development.
