true most games are padded af and dont improve over that time, just mentally ill people develop emotional attachments to characters if they are over exposed, like in the court case where the kids were chopped up by helicopter blades, but they replayed it so many times the jurors got desensitized to it

most games these days have very few tricks and everything the game has to offer youll see within the first 2 hours, after that its just bad plot, D tier animation/ mocap and D tier voice acting and nothing but tedium until the next segment of cutscene
very few games actually justify their time commitment , and my patience for them is so low now because how many games just are worthless and a waste of your time

You're spending the same amount of time on video games whether you spend 2 hours ever day over 50 days on one game or 2 hours every day on 10 games that each take 10 hours. You just equate # of games played with a better ROI on your time and that's frankly pathetic. I have friends who have 2+ children and they manage long RPGs just fine. It just takes them longer for obvious reasons.
