I'm not OP but I'm pretty sure the scenario he has in mind is a Second American Civil War where the bases that all the drone operators IRL fly their missions from are the battlefields so they can't simply hide on the other side of the ocean.

The bomb would most likely be deployed against Germany in accordance with the Europe First policy. As for targets? Well using them against any occupied European city would be a PR disaster even if it was militarily useful so that basically rules out supporting the Normandy Landings. Maybe targets within Germany proper such as Dresden, the Ruhr Valley, or Berlin itself.

I am genuinely curious as to which video game or games you think are genuine art. What video game or games do you think will survive hundreds of years like paintings, movies, books etc.? This is a genuine question by the way, I don't have any dog in this fight. I really don't care if video games are deemed art or not by the general populace.

>dropping nuclear weapons on civilians (even though we already killed 1 million Japanese civilians via conventional firebombing, but nobody cares about them lol) is... LE BAD!!!

Okay /k/, let's dance to the critics tune for a bit. What are some ways the Little Boy and Fat Man bombs could have been employed that did not result in massive loss of civilian life, but would still have been psychologically effective enough to intimidate Japan into surrendering?

Drop it on a purely military target? Drop it in the mouth of Tokyo Bay? Announce our intention to destroy a city, name the target, and give the local authorities a 72 hour window to evacuate inhabitants (and if they choose not to, it's on them)?

I realize that we're looking back with 80 years of hindsight and that at the time, using Little Boy to destroy a city seemed to be the best (and only) option, but let's assume Truman got a bit of cold feet about it (maybe he personally attends the Trinity test and experiences the terrifying the power of the bomb firsthand or something) and started looking for less-lethal alternatives.

What causes this retardation? You play a game to play it, not to finish it.

Anyone want to take a shot at what these are? I have three kids and selective spousing has started to become less distant of a concern. How can an upper-working class man inject his kids into an upper caste?

Ukrainians actually want their dead recovered. I’m guessing all of the Russian dead exchanged are officers of relatively high rank (captain and above), seeing as they regularly leave their enlisted to rot where they fall. This has been extensively documented by both Russian and Ukrainian sources.

Most Russians are killed by stand-off weaponry (artillery, drones, etc,)

There are chunks of Elden Ring that still preserve the layout complexity of the previous entries like Stormveil, Leyndell and Farum, but by the gods, what happened with the rest of the game? Did they outsource Raya Lucaria, Redmane, Volcano to complete newfag level designers?
All of those have the same issue of unsatisfactory turbolinearity with barely anything to even explore.
Do mind that ER came after DS3 which had some of the biggest individual areas in the entire series
