Partially fair. 100% agree on the garish design but while each character is built on a trope, it doesn't stay there. Tropes aren't bad in and of themselves, they're a tool that you're supposed to use as a jumping off point.

Honestly fair. However the story is about finding hope in hopelessness and a post-post apocalypse is a better avenue for that

Yet again, fair. While it rarely comes up in the main story, there were several side quests that I couldn't do because I was praying to the RNG gods even before factoring in the gobbledygook of reassigning Blades to get through skill gates

I feel like this is overblown. The game characterizes everyone quickly and establishes their initial motivations and it gives each plot event room to breathe. I'm not saying it doesn't exist at all. But it's not nearly as bad as it's made out to be, similar to JAPANESE HUMOR

Yeah but he comes attached to Poppi who is a great character
All in all I don't think you're wrong to dislike it but I also think you're magnifying the worst parts of the game too much
