The main mistake was making a sequel to meme stranding. The first one was bad but at least it maintained the core atmosphere and tone all the way through. DS2 is straight up a parody or a comedy game, there's no mystery to it at all and the writing is horrible. It's not a story that warranted a sequel at all either. Kojima fucking sucks.
