DK bonanza might be really good. The only other game that I am open to being surprised at is Ghost of Yotei. There is some weird stuff about the VA but unless you're chronically online it's irrelevant for most people let alone enough to affect game awards. I think if they learn from their mistakes with Tsushima it could be the wildcard that takes it

GoT is loved more for its story and Jin's relationship with his Uncle. The actual gameplay is pretty notorious for being littered with Ubisoft open world padding like 100 shrines, hot springs, and haikus. If Ghost of Yotei can fix all that, put the same love into the story, and actually have good side quests with memorable characters it 100% has a shot at GOTY.
