Except here you have all sorts of different weapons (sword+board, greatsword, bow, dual blades, staff, gun, drill spear, a lantern haunted by a ghost that you command to kill people), roguelite items (pretty good itemization with synergy-building and shit), general buildcrafting, cosmetics, it's just an all around good time. Problem is - 15 bucks and 10% off. I was this close to deleting these cunts from my wishlist for this, but I finally caved in and never looked back. Game probably has like 50 hours of content right now, maybe less, but I have 200 in it just because of how FUN it is.

Check out Mars: War Logs and The Technomancer, from Spiders (well known eurojank dev).
The former is a 5/10 or 6/10 at best. Interesting concepts/lore, but really bad pacing and combat. You might like it if you have high tolerance for average/ok-ish games. The latter is far, FAR more polished and with much better writing. Arguably one of their best games.
If you're into VNs and/or Point & Click, check out NORCO. Really great gritty, cyberpunk vydia with amazing pixel art.

A popular criticism for Viewfinder is the disembodied girl voice that comments on some things you do and it really is terrible, but she does get replaced by a less annoying character later on if that also ends up bothering you. I love and hate it, and find it hard to recommend even if you're a patient guy. It has a fairly major update coming soon-ish so wait for that if you plan to get it.

Fear and Hunger is more of a puzzle game with an RPG interface than your standard RPG. Once you get in that mindset and realize you're gonna get your shit pushed in until you "solve" that particular enemy, it's one of the most unique games out there. Nothing tops that atmosphere. If you want a bit of an easier time, you can start with Termina, the second game. There's mechanics in there that make it a much easier game to dip your feet into.
