The only thing I remember from this game was the band who composed the OST was called Power Glove. They did an AMA on reddit to hype the release, but the thread was hijacked with disappointed comments and posts because it wasn't the awesome metal band of the same name. you can probably still find it if you search for it.

Tried owlboy because of the shilling here the week it came out. It wasn't the worst game I'd ever played but it felt like a 6/10 at best

Save scumming in RE0 (as in I would make a save, then play an hour or two to test the next section of the game until I died) felt less of a waste time than the 6-8 hour length game of RE7 because the Crapcom devs had ZERO fucking ideas on how to lengthen out RE7 because they just ripped off Outlast, which they forget is a short yet tense horror thrill ride due to being an indie title. Besides Revelations 2, RE6 is the most content dense RE game and you can tell someone, somewhere, was excited to bring this to life. It doesn't feel like it was rushed out the door like RE7 clearly was. RE7 feels like an awkward backlash response to 6 that borrowed heavily from a successful western horror game but had no ideas on how to spin them out like an Alien Isolation for example.

I would like a 20 hour RE7 (and I don't count the DLC and you are a faggot if you do because Alien Isolation's core campaign doesn't need DLC to be long), but it comes back to being uncreative hacks and nothing to do with length itself.

It's short because it's literally an expansion DLC for Far Cry 3.
This would be a far more relevant criticism leveled at shit like Duke Nukem Forever or Matt Hazard or Bulletstorm or even Doom 16/Eternal which seemed to think the only part of old shooters people remembered were being crass and violent instead of actual game design. BTW here are my hours with RE7 post the DLC. This is barely, BARELY, longer than my time with Alien Isolation. Really liked the Chris DLC, and in particular the final boss, but it was FREE. End of Zoe was fucking embarrassing in tone even if I liked having a new enemy for once (alligator), gee thanks game.

The card game and puzzle room felt like they should've come with the game and I almost don't understand why they spent time making them. The two mercenary style modes were okay but are still several notches below 5 and 6's. The prequel story one was also OKAY.

Overall the content here is weaker than anything in 6, yet I'm supposed to pretend 6 is the black sheep due to retards genuinely being filtered. RE6 was $60 at launch and you got a lot of content. RE7 was $60 and then you had to pay $30-$40 for all of the DLC.

It's a pretty good non-full price expansion scraped together from the assets of previous game to keep the cost down, but I agree about it being overrated
The game being short is good though because ubislop checklist game shouldn't be longer than 10 hours, all of the games they release is long for the sake of being long, and that's why I find it better than FC3 (although FC in genenral is a meh series)
