Almost every cutscene tries too hard to be some sort of very dramatic Netflix TV show, rather than a big-budget blockbuster with action and giant monsters. If you like generic TV shows where friendship wins, maybe you’ll like it. But if you want to see an expansion of MGS 4 and 5 combined, you’ll be very disappointed. Unfortunately, Kojima is too old to make something as epic and cool as he used to.
