I think Tyler is annoying as fuck too but his autism for Valve is solid, and there is too much smoke around HL3 currently for it to be nothing. Valve already admitted to prior HL3/Ep3 attempts, personally I'm confident that Tyler is right they are working on it and it is almost "finished", but the bigger question is it Valve will actually release it. HL Alyx was "finished" before the story reboot happened, and HL3 has a lot more riding on it.

Actually I want to ramble about this because it annoys me still. Jackathan / Jaycie (tranny, yeah) is one of Tyler's big modder friends from all the way back when he made them fix the broken Threewave code from the HL:S stuff in the HL2 beta leak. Since then they've been doing shit together and whatever, but Jackathan thinks that they can be some kind of games journalist and archiver as a real job.

What this actually means is that they stole a good chunk of a pre-existing Valve Archive then added to it so now if you go to 'Valve Archive' theirs shows up first. They got caught on this and refuse to admit it to this day. The second journalist shit they did was contact Black Widow Games devs (They Hunger) and try to ask about the cancelled Source sequel. They got chewed out over the phone by the former CEO because he doesn't want random Half-Life fans calling his personal number, then two devs gave two builds of the game with the understanding they would not be publicly shared outside of documentation.
