I move around a lot due to work and whatnot and overall just want a small thing that's not a hassle to carry around, especially for air travel. Even the Lian might be too big, I'll need to do more research

I was thinking of getting the pro since the OS would be on it, and later on, if I need to, slap on a 4TB EVO/something a bit cheaper. The price difference is only $30 on the 2tb model one so I don't mind it. Also having the storage directly on the mobo helps with portability and whatnot, no? as opposed to having an SSD in the drive bay or whatever

What do you mean? Valve gives you the ability to ignore playing on new slop maps and game modes if you want to, same as avoiding playing anything other than base DOOM. The community isn't able to touch base TF2, like adding new weapons or balancing what's there. Unless you're one of those retards that seethes when you see someone wearing a new hat, but there are mods to disable hats you don't like.

Since then they've been doing shit together and whatever, but Jackathan thinks that they can be some kind of games journalist and archiver as a real job.
What this actually means is that they stole a good chunk of a pre-existing Valve Archive then added to it so now if you go to 'Valve Archive' theirs shows up first. They got caught on this and refuse to admit it to this day. The second journalist shit they did was contact Black Widow Games devs (They Hunger) and try to ask about the cancelled Source sequel. They got chewed out over the phone by the former CEO because he doesn't want random Half-Life fans calling his personal number, then two devs gave two builds of the game with the understanding they would not be publicly shared outside of documentation. Jackathan then spread them to his friends and now they're just online. He hates when you say this to him too. I fucking hate these retards. Valve fanboys suck.
