Reminder: that guy is bad at video games and just parrots /v/ opinions like an echo chamber. It doesn't bother him in the slightest when the opinions he parrots contradict each other because unlike him, /v/ isn't a single person. For example, he made video talking about how e-sports is the death of fighting games and that nowadays fighting games are too technical and are designed to be played by pros and watched by people who don't play. This is an opinion that some people here have. In that video he talked about DoA4 and how it's a great fighting game because so much of the gameplay is based on 50/50s in strings and trying to guess what your opponent is going to do next by pure reaction. Skip a few months, now he's talking about how Tekken is shedding its legacy audience because the new patch made the game too casual-friendly and he feels like he's fighting against strings and not players when he plays it. He also said that some people on consoles like it and give the game high reviews, but I guess he forgot to mention that those people are the same people who enjoyed DoA.

He's video titled "good games are dumb" or something like that is especially egregious, he literally argues in favor of timer scumming in fighting games as tactic in that video and says it's good gameplay when it's viable. He also steals gameplay footage from other players because he doesn't play the games he talks about.

It does visual and sound pretty well.
Levels are repetitive and full of reused assets.
Combat system is ok but under utilized.

Whether or not it's a shallow game is irrelevant. If people derive enjoyment from it because it makes their dicks hard, that's their prerogative.
