I like how you have to really work the limbs to set up the melee prompts, it was incredibly easy to set up melee prompts in the original, even with the basic, unupgraded weapons.

>panic based
if you're a baby maybe, shit was braindead easy cause of how simple it was to stun every single mook (and the bosses were a joke). DS 1 and 2 are definitely more challenging games.
>way harder than demake which is easy modo

>Why does everyone talk about RE4 like it was just the first couple chapters and not like it's a game with multiple enemy types with multiple weapons.
Cool. All of them can be taken out with shots to the head and knees, then slashed to death. And it stays like that for the rest of the game.

It's funny because RE4make added parrying.

>This whole thing about being a contrarian for the sake of getting attention in an anonymous imageboard and people replying to you.
No anon, contrarian would be defending a game from twenty three years with inferior gameplay, voice acting, and difficulty. it's like pretending that the RE4 remake is inferior to the original. I'm a fan of the originals, but I'm not so blind of a fanboy to think they haven't aged a day when in reality they have.

The tension of the original dies when you realize oh you can just headshot-melee everyone to death and then it stops being scary.
