I wonder whose idea it was to give the 3060 Ti, 3070, 3070 Ti and 3080 less VRAM than the 3060.

Did you guys know that Valves RADV is 30-50% faster than the Nvidia driver in all rasterization PC games?

1070 laptop before that. I don't remember the last time I started a game up for the first time and it didn't just run perfectly out of the box, granted I never buy anything until it's on sale for at least $10 or $15 so usually the games I'm running are a few years old

but i want to play newer games, i'm not one of those people who rewrites the brain to pretend no game after (day graphics card stopped being good) is worth playing
i'll probably just wait for the 9060xt to get cheaper

and why can't you just turn down the graphics? i'm about to play the Robocop demo and I bet i can get 60fps native resolution and it'll still look nice

I sold my 3070 recently. The 8GB was less of a problem for gaming than it was for generating AI slop. Only a small fraction of games, all of them AAA garbage, have demanded a minimum VRAM over 8GB in the past 4.5 years.
