No they designed it to use a hardware compression algorithm which makes all PS5 games the smallest packages on any system. The PS5 uses the speed to unpack files during streaming.

The only instance loading time I've seen is that the main menu can go directly into a save. But going back to the main menu causes a loading screen that's a few seconds long. Obviously, they're loading the save file assets when you're loading the title screen so it seems more impressive. Can't wait to play it on PC.

death stranding has has two types of radio calls. one of them is a completely different screen like the codec calls from metal gear solid and the other doesn't interfere with anything, you can run, jump, get in a vehicle and go full speed while listening to them.
The first game used the codec style calls significantly, but still less than half the time, and the sequel only uses them 5 or 6 times at the very end of the game.

no it doesn't. I believe it has 8 less pcie lanes but that's because the GPU is on the same chip.
Anyway, ps5 would have started development a few years before pcie 4.0 was even a standard. pcie 4.0 debuted on PC with the ryzen 3000 series. Amd didn't even have 5% of the datacenter market at that time and sony was their biggest customer. So basically, yes they co developed the higher speed with sony so everyone could load games faster.

PS5 peak bandwidth when streaming large files only is 5.0GB/s. Currently the fastest gen 5 SSD on PC is 15.5GB/s, and that is without using DirectStorage API which increases that further for streaming assets in game. So yeah it is 3x easily. You retarded inbred nigger-ape.
