Genso Wanderer Reloaded is one of the best mystery dungeon games imo, the soundtrack is really good.
Monster Girls and the Mysterious Adventure 1 "Remake" and 2 are good choices if you want monster collecting as well.
DragonfangZ is really rough, but has a lot of charm and a neat combat system that encourages purposefully being surrounded instead of turtling all the time.

Taboo Trial is enjoyable for me and the gameplay does change enough between runs to stay fun for a decent amount of playtime, but it is still ultimately sort of button mashing and dodging to trigger various effect so I'd only recommend if you like number go up games or being overpowered.

I'd lean towards the Shin Chan bundle. They're charming, cute, and cozy with some pleasant background art. You can mostly just drift through those titles, they won't demand much from you. The Sam and Max titles are solid, I just don't think the humor style would resonate with me these days. They also decided to censor/change some of the script that they felt was "out of date", which is just petty.

Okay, it's pretty fun I think. Can't wait to build something gigantic. I love city builders and farming sims because you can build something beautiful but building your own factory should be interesting experience too.

There's only 3 games. Nier (Replicant on Steam is a remake of this), Nier Automata, and Nier Reincarnation. Reincarnation was a mobile game that's shut down, so you'd have to watch stuff on that online or read a synopsis.

If you wanna get autistic, the series is technically a spinoff of Drakengard and a sequel to one of the bad endings of Drakengard 1. You don't REALLY need to worry about it, but if you end up enjoying Nier then consider checking out Drakengard to find out what caused the events.

If you wanna get extra super autistic, there was actually a musical/stageplay between Nier 1 and Automata. This one matters even less than Drakengard, but I'll list it for completionist sake.

rdr2 is a fantastic game despite what contrarians will spout in this shitty board. it however is... what it is, its open world with a bunch of busy work, but the game is well done and the characters are engaging.
Dredge is 9 fantastic hours, if you enjoy those you can then purchase the 2 dlc for another 3-5 hours, but i persoanlly would get a small break between main and dlc cause by the end of the main game the gameloop was getting stale, but it was cool to revisit a year or so later with the dlc
Tunic is not as good as people put it but it still really enjoyable and the premise and main gimmick of the game is nothing short of genius

Borderlands 3 has 2 Season Pass, so you can already tell that it has not all the DLCs with missions, even if the 2nd Season Pass is total trash.

If you want a suggestion by a fanboy like me, Borderlands 3 is bad from almost every point of view. Worst writing I have ever saw, very bad jokes and very cringe. Several incronguences with the story. I didn't even like the gameplay.
The only good stuff was the art, and some DLCs.

If you still want to buy it, you have to get the Ultimate Edition.

Make sure to check the other bundles too, because you should absolutely play the previous ones if you did not, like Borderlands 1, 2 and Pre-Sequel.

Pandora's Box has surely the best value, but it contains other games you could not be interested to, like Tales from the Borderlands and New Tales from the Borderlands.

Bought Marvel's GotG, been playing it for a few days and it's surprisingly fun. I kinda like early Marvel movies and this game feels like a good campy movie. Surprisingly A LOT of dialogue, characters yapping like non-stop and react to you doing certain things (like splitting off and taking a shortcut) which you almost never see nowadays. Game just feels "alive".
Animations are a bit jank though along the TAA shit.

I think it struck the perfect length, its 4 biomes and the starting area and that left me content, another biome probably would have been too much.
Which is what happens with the dlc, one of the dlc is an extra (very well made) biome, and the other dlc has you revisit the previous biomes with some extra mechanics.
So playing the base game, then waiting for both DLC to release and only then revisiting the game was the perfect timeframe for me but i could see people getting burned out if you did it all "in a row".
Even more so because the gameplay starting to become stale near the end is a fairly common complaint i have seen in dredge threads back in the day.

Guardians is almost hidden gem tier. The art direction on it is insane, and I personally like cooldown-based combat so using the abilities was fun
