i dont get it.

why is it book enjoyers aren't afraid of being able to skip chapters, tv enjoyers aren't afraid of being able to jump episodes, yet vidya fanboys go feral if you propose being able to jump between levels or bosses without beating the game first? genuinely how does this prevent you from enjoying the boss as you normally would?

As a certified boss hater I actually like this option. If every game gave me this I would skip every boss I didn't beat on the first try. It's just artifical difficulty.

There is nothing wrong with an easy mode. Just slow down enemy attacks/tone down damage/whatever else it takes for the player to win. Making fights completely skippable is retarded.

Giving the player access to cheats and settings to control the game is much better then doing an easy mode, which 99% of the time is just "the game but worse"
