>>713975018Oh right, I can totally understand. I've played it for a while and dropped it as soon as I beat the three bosses or so they had in the game ages ago. Might check it out before it leaves early access, but considering they are going to wipe everything, I'm not too keen of that idea. The game doesn't varant these real time hour upgrades and building for what it is. There is no coop right now and I don't think coop would bring anything meaningful to this retarded grind either.
Is the remaster a good way to play MGS 1-3 or should I go with an emulator?
30yo dad strategy gamer here. Thinking of buying the following games:

I could use a game recommendation. Not sure what to buy this sale. Bonus points if they can run on a potato.
I like games like Outer Wilds, with a sense of adventure and scale and size. Puzzles are an option.
I like horror games. Last horror game that I played was Mouthwashing, and I enjoyed that a lot.
I also like RPGs like Owlcat or Larian. Bonus points if they have a lot of replayability and different choices and stuff.

What are some "essential" DRPGs/blobbers/first-person-party-based-dungeon-crawlers to pick up on this sale? I've already played Etriams and got bored of Labyrinth of Refrain.
Currently eyeing the different Wizardry games, Elminage Original (totally not Wizardry), Class of Heroes 1-2-3 (Wizardry but anime), Stranger of Sword City, but I'm open to more suggestions.
I want a "true" DRPG experience, but at the same time something ball-bustingly hard due to being full of bullshit and borderline requiring guides like Wizardry 1 just doesn't really seem fun or worthwhile anymore. i've learned overtime that old games on Steam are just always broken and if it's on sale on Steam I can just go over to GOG and buy it for the same price with the patches and stuff pre-installed. I still see people in these threads buy these games though off Steam. Am I missing something or is this just a me issue?

>>713982925>that VNThe most unforgettable horror porn game I've ever played. No other game had a bunch of elementary schoolers gangbang a teenage girl against a wall. And the teenage girl loved it. No other game I've played had a 17 year old bishonen guy drink a 14 year old girl's piss and chase her down the hall to rape her, only to wind up getting anally raped by a 32 year old fat man. I still remember the scene where a 16-17 girl was hiding under a bed as her same age best friend was having sex with that same 32 year old fat guy on top. She heard every moan, bed shake and sound. In the wrong end she was discovered under the bed by her friend and made to join. A most terrifying scene was when an unwilling girl relives another girl's sex memories. The girl in the memory consented but the reliving girl didn't. It didn't matter that she was mentally screaming, her body in the memory did all the motions and actions as in history. It's like mind control rape except the victim was fully aware. Another scene the same girl and a friend were almost raped in a magic sex ritual, saved by the girl's older sister, and the backlash made the older sister want to rape her younger sister and friend.
The loli in this pic is freakishly lewd and once disguised herself as a teenage girl, fucked a boy until he nearly came, transformed back saying
>You thought you were having sex with a highschooler weren't you? I'm an elementary schooler all along! And leglocks that boy, forcing him to cum inside her unprotected, when he screams in fear upon learning this. This isn't even getting into the tentacles, the gay sex, the lesbian sex, the incest, the sequel's mother/daughter lesbian scene, etc. The first chapter alone contains lots of lesbian sex scenes with an unavoidable girl masturbating in the bathroom. Truly horror is intrinsically connected with sexuality.

Most of these games defined or repositioned their genres.
You can't get a better military SIM game than Arma 3 for example, especially when you factor in mods for multiplayer servers. Have you played it recently? Games like Squad and hell let loose are great, but they don't have the capacity of Arma 3.

>>713992462Days Gone was shockingly good. It's kind of funny. It's got the veneer of some boring slump console game, but the actual story and gameplay is relatively engaging. Solid 8 out of 10 for me. The zombie horde mechanic is unique, it actually makes the zombie trope (tired and boring) creepy.
You can take out a single zombie but if you fuck up it's only a matter of time before a horde comes.
Evil Within 2 is good but nonstop and a bit awkward controls if I recall.
Both great.
Days Gone if you need something to pass time, Evil Within 2 if you need constant stimulus.
