Because it's an obstacle to overcome, that's the point of games. Grim Dawn doesn't have obstacles, only rewards, which aren't very rewarding without having to fight for them. Someone who plays Grim Dawn can easily make a perfect character and never die on their very first run. This is IMPOSSIBLE in PoE, this requires hundreds of hours of experience and no guide will help you. There's no learning in Grim Dawn, if I'm not learning or getting better, well, I'm not truly gaming.

Imagine if someone made an entire game out of the tire power up in Kirby. It's like that. You also have a nu-sonic the hedgehog style groundpound thing where you can halt your momentum and slam into ramps to ricochet off them at super speed.
