My sister had a weird level of control over my mother. It was surreal. If she said something, my mother believed it.
Anyway, one day I was 12 in woodwork class and some idiot had a rusty old screw in a vice longways and kept tightening and tightening the vice. The screw shattered and a fragment of it embedded in my hand somehow. The teacher tried to rip it out the hard way but it had embedded in my hand.
So, my mother at home gets the call, and my sister who was staying home that day heard what she was talking about and told my mother I did not need to go to the hospital and I could take it out myself, I was just being dramatic.
That screw was in my hand for another 8-10 hours before I finally managed to worry it out. I don't know because I lost conciousness through blood loss.
When my dad got home at around 4am he found me on the bathroom floor covered in blood, he drove me to hospital where it was found that I need a tetanus shot, stitches and had to wear a cast until one of the bones in my hand fused back together.
When I got home I was grounded by my mother for "exagerrating every illness I get."
Now my mother cries because I "dont talk tofaaaaaamily" refuse to let her know my daughter, and managed to beat her in court when she tried to pursue "grandparents rights."
I fucking hate my mother.
