That is the Banandium Root. Pauline is using her singing to "wake it up" so that they can get their wish. This is after beating Void Kong. K.Rool swoops in and eats it after this and becomes a giant. Final battle is DK scaling K.Rool, using his various Bananza forms to beat bulging spots on K.Rool to eat the Banandium sticking out. Eventually, K.Rool swats DK off and Pauline sings, causing DK to become a Giant too. Final bit of the final battle is Giant Kong Bananza DK fighting Giant K. Rool.
