I think Metal Gear Rising touched upon this a bit, they mentioned most PMC's had at least some level of augmentation. Granted, aside from restoring lost limbs and senses, the immediate use for most cybernetics you see in games is focused on combat and sometimes hacking, so you wouldn't see heavy usage outside military or police settings.
Cyberpunk, both the anime and various games, depict a lot of enhancements that'd be beneficial for daily life even as a normie.
