My problem with the Switch 2 is that it's piss poor value and Nintendo used to be the king of value. I want them to make a console that is built like a brick, cheap and has games I want to play. Btw there is no reason why MK World and DK Bananza can't be on Switch 1, in fact I suspect DK is an actual Switch game that they decided to make exclusive to Switch 2 because Nintendo are scummy like that. In general there is nothing we've seen that couldn't run on Switch 1 with some compromises except Cyberpunk 2077 and that's a 3rd party game.

Xbox is dead and Steam capabilities won't save it. It'll cost far more than Sony's $900 PS6 and what's even the point when the Steam Deck 2 will be out at a price of either $500 or $550 for just the base model. Microsoft will just be a publisher before Sony but after 10th gen, I expect Sony to be a publisher too. Microsoft and Sony may even retire the Xbox and PlayStation names by then.
