Just finished the game with both endings
Game is a solid 6.5/10
I recomend buiyng it when its around 30 bucks
Game is fun and the combat is at it best when there are no more than 1 enemy on screen
The secret bosses are cool and the sidequests are suprisingly entertaining
The story is probably the worst thing in the game, characters barely appear in screen or say anything including the main protagonist, nobody feels specially fleshed out at all and the story is predictable and basically a copy of nier replicant with its own personal twist at the end
The ass is distraction and for some this is a good thing or a bad thing

There's like a handful bosses that really pose a threat and do a skill check for the majority of the game you don't have to hit a single parry or dodge until the last two then mann and scarlet it's absolutely necessary to dodge their attacks. It's literally the worst balancing I've every experienced.Every other boss needs to be buffed though the robot in hardmode beat the shit out of me so bad I had to go full defense to even beat it which was fantastic I wish I had to switch up my builds for every boss.

Is this game actually any good? I like real stylish action games with air juggles and stuff. My understanding is this game is slow and souls/sekirolike?

I’m literally sitting here watching the credits after finishing the bad end for my NG+ run and man it fucking sucks. Just feels bad because you can tell it’s the worst possible ending for everyone involved. I got the true ending on my first run and was it really felt like that’s the way they’re going to lead into the sequel for sure. At least the Elder Naytiba fight was fun though it wasn’t nearly as hard as Providence
