While there doesnt seem to be an inherent risk per - se, there is some dishonesty. Could be something mild as if it was a half-hearted invitation though it does seem to be practical in nature. Maybe you or them dont have the time or its incredibly expensive to one of you. All in all, the invitations doesnt seem to make sense for mostly practical reasons.

Depending on the context of the meet-up, the reason, which i am thinking is VERY open ended (aka just to see what happens) though i might be wrong in this assessment, I dont think its fruitful if you were looking to get anything from it, and some party might just bail or feel like expectations weren't ment, probably you two.

I can expand if you need me to, but my deck doesnt seem to agree too much with this meet up.
