>>714105238 (OP) >best game DS just for the shear amount of content. If we count fan hacks then AW returns is really good, just missing DS characters and it'd be perfect
>>714105980 DS was broken as fuck since dual strike with the right COs and placement was an instant win button, which made it not fun. Also Lin shit totally on Jake 'if you kill him' ending.
>>714106981 Story mode sucked yeah. I mainly played the other mods or challenges on DS with 1 CO battles mainly. It was really customizable so that's why I liked it, but with full dual CO's it's really just whoever gets the dual power first wins
a lot of media is just propaganda to groom kids into believing that punishing criminals is bad and that giving them a chance surely will make them good (pro tip: it won't. Criminals will just go back to crime as soon as they can)
>>714105238 (OP) I recently refound my copy I thought I had lost in an old box. I'm very glad I don't have to S rank some of those extra maps, but that damn Triangle Lake one with the enemy antitank in the top right is filtering me.

>>714108294 youd do the same thing in his situation
>>714108045 >Wars is probably dead for another decade You understand that reboot camp was Advance War's last chance right? Not only did it woefully underperform, world events once again causing the game to get delayed would have effectively blacklisted the series. Nintendo is through giving Advance Wars extra chances. The series is over, all we can look forward to now are indie reimaginings, all of which are horrendously bad

>>714108045 >if you buy the shovelware they'll use the money to make the game you actually want Yeah, that's definitely how it works. I know because that's why I bought Code Name Steam a decade ago. But at least Steam wasn't a straight downgrade from the source material. (I've never played XCOM or Valkyria Chronicles, therefore they don't exist. Please understand.)
>>714105238 (OP) In a game where you kill hundreds of soldiers on both sides of a conflict, not killing the leader afterwards is an insult on the memory of those lost.
