its like $10 and you'll sink 500 hours into it at least. Its one of the only decent games released in the last 10 years.

it's fun with friends
it's fun with randos
it's fun solo
it has several difficulty level for you tastes
it has a bunch of cool mods
you can cheat in upgrades with no consequences if you're a zoomer who doesn't wanna grind
if you like it you can easily play it for a coupel hundred hours
don't buy if you're the kind of retard who whines that "every game is the same" or "you see everything the game has to offer in 6h" then go on and play another 2k hours of DOTA or CSGO

imo it's not fun alone. The game gets repetitive and the co-op aspect is the only thing that really breaks that monotony. The game is good, just repetitive.

i dropped it after an hour. digging tunnels in 1 direction and then having to escape was peak cringe. also narratively i think it's the type of game that would turn u into a teamforest2 type of fag who just screams memes as loud as possible and thinks its peak humor

Most people are done with the game, devs included.

Absolutely.
It's one of the very few MP games in general that have a GREAT online community, and is a total blast to play even with total randoms.

Not only is the game literally engineered for co-operation (there's zero competitive elements whatsoever, everyone gets 100% of everything!), but even if you're an introvert with no mic, you can effortlessly communicate using the in-game Laser Pointer (pinging system) and the Salute button.

t. Clocking over 1500 hours and counting. Easily THE greatest co-op action game ever made. And believe me, I've just about played all there is, as co-op is my jam.

>less than 10k players
>"dead"
You okay in the head buddy?
Anyway, DRG ain't exactly a "live service" sort of game. It's much more pick-up-n-play fun. Easy to start, easy to quit. The numbers usually skyrocket during sales and seasonal events, but the fact is, the game's been out of Early Access for 5 years now, and the devs are already working on a new title as we speak, so huge changes won't happen any time soon no more.
