You finally get the chance to check out his reputation, but he pulls out his smartphone and starts reading jokes he finds on the Internet. Does it matter if the joke is funny or not? No, you'll find it ridiculous, consider the guy a fraud, and doubt the sanity of everyone around you. That doesn't mean that AI as a whole will be rejected. When someone is in a 3D program and is using AI to help them create assets, the result will be no different from someone grabbing textures from a library or some shit. This type of secondary use as a tool is already a reality and will be beneficial because it will allow creative people to produce more quickly, without their intent being replaced by an algorithm that would be creating everything from scratch.
