The cancellation of Crysis 4, Perfect Dark, and so many other games hitting the skids makes it all the more impressive that Bloodlines 2 is coming out in a few months. It's a miracle this game survived the publisher losing interest in AAA games and the parent company moving away from original game dev towards supporting outsource work.

It was a rebooted version of a fucking terrible Crysis 4 attempt that was cancelled in 2020 where Crytek wanted to make Crysis into a third person battle royale game directly competing with Apex Legends.
Unfortunately, Paradox are going on leave this month, so we won't get any news on Bloodlines 2 until August, which will line up with Gamescom and PAX. Apparently they've been working on a bunch of marketing materials, including new trailers, in the meantime.
