No it's full release, there are no planned alternative builds or progression for the mechs in the main 6v6/3v3 mode.

I´m pretty good with falcon, but does lack the damage to take out most threats. It just can´t kill a stego or tricera, at best it will annoy then a bit. Hell, it can barelly damage a panther. Luminae can now tag you with damage and just run away. At this point falcon can only actually beat aquila, narukami (unless it´s a good one that don´t need the auto aim to kill things, then falcon is fucked), airraider (that is objectivelly a better mech but I like falcon more so fuck airraider) and other falcons. Exactly. Narukami is an extremely high skill ceiling mech, and you aren't playing her to her potential at all if you just passively take popshots or wait for lockons all day. The only moments you should have downtime is while you waiting for sniper recharges, and if you are able to sit in a sniper nest all day as Narukami, it's because you aren't doing enough that anyone cares to track you down. If you snipe the enemy team Luminae and get two of their heavies to half health before the enemy Falcon finally catches you, then you're kami-ing.

The easiest way to tell if you're playing Narukami right is if anyone other than the Falcon, Aquila, or Skyraider is looking for you. If you catch a heavy looking for you, then you're a god.

The first is the season pass thing that you have to buy with real money, then you unlock a tiered shop, where you have to spent your earned in-game currency to unluck the tiers to be allowed to buy items at all also with that same in-game currency (after the first step the player already gave you the money so why the torture?). Then you can buy a oc pilot for the price of a full game, but the character is just one complete thing, so you can't take parts like jacket and put it onto your custom pilot, contrary to the entire rest of the customization system (why sabotage something you want sell for so much money?). Then you have the first seasonal thing, where you have buy the main clothing piece first to be allowed to buy any of the accessories (usually it would at least be the other way around but I guess the devs think it's tempting to first buy an item for like 5x the price of the tiny accessory you want to have?) and then you have another tab of weekly rotating seasonal individual items (fuck you if next week there is an item that would've gone well with one of the previous week or EVER previewing them together). Skyraider was fun and strong in the 1st public beta. The cluster missile shat out damage, his gun had a separate ammo pool in flight mode like Falcon, it reloaded like 3 times as fast, shot 4 round bursts in flight mode, and the charged shot was very strong. In the 2nd beta they stripped all that away so he was a total peashooter. Now they gave a bit of damage back and gave him the flip maneuvers but not the doom spiral. Basically his main gun is trash now, that's the worst problem. You run out of ammo half way into a fight and the recharge is glacial.

I haven't played many games, but one thing you should do if you're going to play as Narukami a lot is to set a hotkey for Zoomed Sniper Manual Targeting Mode. The game doesn't tell you about this in the tutorials because by default, it doesn't actually have a hotkey assigned to it; you have to go into Settings and assign it yourself.

The main thing going into Manual Targeting mode is that it no longer attempts to lock-on for you to auto-aim within the aiming reticle while zoomed in; it replaces this with a small circle in the middle of the screen that goes red when you're pointing it directly at something. Aim your shots manually and hit stuff. You can be a little bit 'off' but still hit the target if the beam grazes a bit of the target (because the charged shot is a tiny bit larger than the indicator, depending on the target).

Why would you want to go into Manual Targeting Mode, you may ask? It's because particularly attentive players going for you (mostly Falcons and Skyraiders) will either approach you by dodging left and right to make it pretty much impossible to get a lock on, or as soon as they see a Lock-On Alert, immediately do a roll (or the spiral down thing for Falcon) to become immune to lock-ons. That said, you can still fire 'manual shots' in Auto-Aim Mode, but you pretty much give no warning to anyone that your shot is coming in Manual Targeting Mode.

if you want the ace achievement (vs bots) just play aquilla and vulch kills while skyboxing, watch your team fight mechs, then take the kill, and do it again

you can probably get ace or multiple aces every low rank bot match

I know because I did it in beta when smurfing, due to the excessive queue times in high ranked

In fact its a good idea to get it done before you climb out of bot matches, because getting aces is much more difficult when you're playing with decently skilled people who secure their kills quickly

In high rank, do people still try to melee the heck out of a Tricera one-on-one? I feel like it's totally bot behaviour, but I've had Welkins, Panthers and Alysnes try to melee me but I'd keep parrying them by dropping Fortress Mode and bring it back up, dashing back during the animation with gatlings blazing.

Depending on the terrain, another thing I try to do with Narukami is to drop a decoy behind an obstacle near me, the main idea being that the decoy is either hidden or shielded from direct fire (preferably both) while I can actually come out the side in the 'open' but still cloaked because of the decoy drone nearby
