I'm convinced Capcom knows now if they put Leon at the helm they'd be stuck with him permanently unless they wanted to tank franchise sales. Much easier to give it to a boring unlikable character like Chris, so the audience is sick of him by the time the game is over and they can let the writers pivot easily for the next game with a new MC.

Honestly I would've said that was Jill, but it's all about your perception. He was the cover guy but for me it was Jill because I first saw the series with her in 3.

Honestly I feel like the Raccoon Survivors have expired. They honestly don't even feel like survivors anymore. They feel more superhuman than the BOWs they're trying to kill. The they're nice to look at in the Remake but it feels like that's just kicking the can down the road. Ethan was the most valiant attempt at making a new mainstay protag but he's fucking dead now. Piers died. Sheva is never coming back and she's my all time RE waifu so I'm forever tortured by this. Who does that leave? Does Grace Ashcroft have the type of staying power to replace Claire?

I LOVED Sheva's bow and arrow. When I used to play RE5 I didn't even need the aiming laser to hit even long range targets. I occasionally play RE5 and I always use Sheva.

At first I was upset that armor takes up item slots but as time has gone on I understand the gameplay balance. You're trading an item slot for protection. While I kept the melee armor though, I eventually stopped using the bulletproof armor. Gun wielding enemies are at the end of the game and they telegraph like hell
