I'm all in support for the idea of parents and a school system making sure that a person around that age is not taken advantage of by someone in power and turned into a sex slave or made to do things against their will, but this extremely recent idea in history that suddenly everyone is a kid that should have no concept of sex or engage in it up until the age of 18 is total bogus only created specifically to aid the prison complex, you can literally search and see that every single country that passed higher age of consent laws, did it right after the first big industrial prisons were built in that respective country.
It's literally a law made to create slavery.
