Companies in Japan expect people to make their jobs their whole life. The worst part in Japan is that overtime work isn't payed. People are so bittered over that instead of changing the system they just expect you to conform and suffer like everyone else.

Birthrate problems are because of female level of education. It's the single stat that cuts through everything. Poor immigrants and white trash pop them out by the dozen in every country only, middle class career women say "we can't afford it, we don't have the time". Indians living 10 to a room still have them.

Japan has a lot of good programs/benefits if you live in more rural areas. Like the Gov literally gives Japanese married people free houses in smaller town so they don't die out. For some reason the people have an obsession of living in Tokyo and working 16 hour days. It's funny because there was a video on youtube awhile ago showing white farmers with their Japanese wives living in two story houses near a town with around 10k people.

Not that I'd move to Japan, the people are cringe, andI grew up on a farm and hated it.

This happens in the USA. You just don't get the hours like Japan. You can mostly get shitty $12 an hour jobs that at the most give you like 10-20 hours a week. If you survive this way you'd have to work multiple jobs and you end up working around the same amount of hours as a nip.

My point is birthrate has nothing to do with what people say is the issue. If these subhumans are willing to do it, it shows it's possible. People just don't want to give up their quality of life so they substitute in a cat or dog. And this is always from a couple where the woman is in a proper career. Stay at home mums and ones with simple jobs want kids if they husband is earning a decent wage.

That's because you were born in the Tutorial Area, anon.
Japanese grind their entire childhood away to get anything more than 3mil yen a year job with unpaid overtime, no sick leave, 5 assured paid holidays (work laws mandate 10, but the employer only has to make you take 5 of them).
1500 is more than what the ATLUS new hires get after 4 years of uni.

>doesn't mean it's a good idea though
Never said it was, but people really overstate how easy it was back in the day. Outside of the postwar period in select countries it was not easy raising kids. It's a massive massive sacrifice and high IQ people know that so they'll dance around the issue and say it's because they don't earn enough but the reality is that they just aren't willing to take the lifestyle hit that everyone else is willing to take. They do earn enough they just don't earn what they want.
>hat's part of the issue, most people do not earn a "decent wage", and nowhere near enough to support a whole family on a single income
I live in one of the poorest parts of the UK, consistently ranked low in all outcomes of life and I see low IQ retards breeding all the time and being able to sustain it. Chavs who will have everything on finance, have a holiday every year to ibiza etc and they manage to make ends meet. The GF typically stays at home or has some shitty job like retail or beautitian. They will no doubt get housing benefit but I have spoken to a few of them who decided for the wife to quit work because childcare would be too much. Meanwhile the couples in my family are entering 35y/o territory both parties earn a very good wage with careers, yet they have no kids despite being in a much more capable position to have them.
>it's possible to do meth for 40 years and still be kicking.
Having kids is a sacrifice and always has been, people don't want to give up their quality of life but blame it on other factors than just being honest.

THe idea is that if you spend even $10 a day on worthless purchases like that, that alone would be nearly $4,000 a year. Multiply that by several other unnecessary purchases and you find that many people spend tens of thousands per year on things they could have gone without, made the same way at home, etc.

The point isn't to eat beans and rice or instant ramen every day, but to just cut back on how often you eat out. The problem also lies in how much fast food prices have gone up. If you could buy stuff off the dollar menu to fill up you could do that multiple times a week and only pay like 12 dollars. Not a single purchase from McDonald's costs 12 dollars

You have cause and effect backwards.
Higher education isn't what is making women not have children.
Women are pursuing higher education because of a general culture of not wanting to be homemakers and increased general ambition in the outside world, which tangentially connects to decreased fertility.

t.city dweller
surburbs remain as they are and so is rural, problem is you fucks want to live so hard in the city you simply refuse to go out of it and seek a better life, instead of you just complain all day and everyday about how hard it is to live in there while others who decided to fuck off suddenly live correctly in the surburbs while renting an appartment.
the closer you are to a huge town the more everything expensive become, just because there is too many damn fucking people in it, get that in your head. same shit with the jap in OP post, if he get the fuck out of tokyo and do a different job at the same pay he would have a family and two kids but noooo they want to live in their little rat cages because that's the only thing they know and are afraid of the rest.

Swefag here. This trend has started to infect our corpo culture as well. It started with paid overtime being replaced with time off. They then started to dictate when you can take your extra time, which now has turned into "You may take your extra time off WHEN it fits the company scheduling".

On paper you are technically getting compensation for the overtime, except the compensation is management pissing down your throat and telling you it's raining. I'm contemplating emigrating real soon, probably to Poland.

it's 4000 US$ missing from your bank account that could be placed into a saving account with an interrest rate, after a few years in turn into big money that you can use into something else that can generate even more money.

The only real drawback since the late 90s up until around 2012 was that living in the middle of no where meant you were restricted to expensive sattelite internet and it was slow compared to broadband or cable. I think the speeds have gotten a lot better but you're still fucked on price. I just checked though and even a small town outside of Houston called carmine has better options. I didn't even realize fixed wireless became so big. Maybe those cell phone towers aren't so bad after all. Does anyone here have any sort cell phone internet plan?

I donโ€™t wanna rent, but unfortunately I donโ€™t make enough yet to be able to have much say in the matter.
